Die französischen Flundern von Alpine sind ein besonderes Thema der Automobilgeschichte. Unser O-Y-App-Freund Fredy Pillinger aus der Schweiz hat uns mit vielen Bildern zu den legendären Sportwagen aus Dieppe versorgt. Vielen Dank dafür! Im Titelbild die Alpine 310 V6, neben dem Rallye Monte-Carlo-Sieger A 110 das bekannteste Coupé der Marke von Jean Rédélé ( 1922-2007). Das Coupé mit 2,7 Liter-Sechszylinder und 150 PS wurde von 1976 bis 1985 gebaut. Es gab aber noch andere sehr interessante Fahrzeuge:

Die erste Alpine: A 106 / First Alpine A 106

The French Alpine sports cars are a special interest in the automotive history. Our O-Y-App.com friend Fredy Pillinger from Switzerland has provided us with lots of pictures of the legendary sports cars from Dieppe. Thank you very much! In the picture the Alpine V6 310, next to the Rallye Monte-Carlo winner A 110 Coupé the best-known car of Jean Rédélé (1922-2007) The Coupe with 2.7-liter six-cylinder and 150 hp and was built until 1976 and 1985. But there were other very interesting cars made by Alpine:

Jean Rédélé war selbst Rennfahrer, bevor er ab 1954 einen Sportwagen auf Basis des Renault 4 CV konstruierte. Das Design dieses ersten Alpine, Typ A 106, stammte von Giovanni Michelotti. 1956 begann die Serienfertigung. Auf das Modell A 108 folgte 1962 der A 110, der 1971 die Rallye Monte-Carlo und alle weiteren großen Rallye-Titel gewann. 1971 erschien auch der A 310, zuerst mit Vierzylinder-Motor, später mit V6. Dieser sollte lange im Schatten des höchst erfolgreichen A 110 stehen. Den wohl größten Erfolg erlebte Alpine mit dem A 442, mit dem 1978 das 24-Stunden-Rennen von Le Mans gewonnen wurde. Im selben Jahr verkaufte Jean Rédélé seine Anteile an Renault – er hatte vermutlich alles erreicht, was er erreichen wollte.

Jean Rédélé was even a racing driver before he constructed his first sports car based on the Renault 4 CV in 1954. The design of this first Alpine, Type A 106 came from Giovanni Michelotti. In 1956, the series production started. On the Model A 108 followed the famous A 110 in 1962. This car won the Rallye Monte-Carlo in 1971 and all other major rally titles, too. In 1971 also the A 310, first with four-cylinder engine, later with V6 was introduced. This should be in the shadow of the highly successful A 110 for a long time. Probably the greatest success was reached with the Alpine A 442, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans was won in 1978. That same year, Jean Rédélé sold his shares to Renault – he probably had achieved everything he wanted to achieve.
